The fourth-ranked Cougars manhandled second-ranked Northwest Wyoming 30-13 in the final, after advancing through convincing wins over 19th-ranked Pratt Community College (52-3), seventh-ranked North Iowa Community College (35-10) and fifth-ranked Ellsworth Community College (41-4).

The win over Northwest Wyoming in the final avenged a 21-20 loss to Northwest on Dec. 14.
