Sales Representative

Forest Grove News Times

The Forest Grove News-Times is looking for a talented and energetic person to join our busy advertising sales team in western Washington County.

We're looking for candidates with great people skills and a desire to succeed who will work with existing accounts and potential customers to sell advertising (print, digital, social). You will need to be organized and able to make both written and in-person proposals and presentations, plus excellent time management skills and attention to detail are a must. Computer skills are a must, along with valid driver's license and reliable transportation. We're looking for a go-getter who isn't afraid of cold calling and meeting new people. A great sense of humor is a plus, too!

Beaverton Valley Times & Tigard-Tualatin Times

The Beaverton Valley Times and the Tigard-Tualatin Times, members of the Pamplin Media Group of newspapers, are seeking a reporter for a full-time position. This individual is responsible for handling a beat and doing both news and feature writing. The preferred candidate will have two years of experience working at a community newspaper, along with web posting and social media skills. Photography skills and/or fluency in Spanish are pluses. Should possess good interviewing and time management skills in order to ultimately produce as many as 12 stories weekly.
